Hi! I am Lela, an artist based in Toronto, Canada.
What really fascinates me and definitely motivates me to draw and paint is LIGHT. There is such a magical beauty, mysterious haziness and dreadful darkness all created simply by light.
This blog was created to follow me through my quest of “catching” the elusive beauty... seeing through the blinding brightness of sunshine and play of the dawn shadows... and reawakening an urge to touch and feel.

Stunning. Very nice work.
Oh, my. The details in this drawing are so deep and captivating. I love the castle instead of the hotel. Much better! Of all of the details, I am "drawn" to the water's edge on the opposite shoreline. It feels so real, like I could paddle my canoe over there and just hop out and take a nap in the grass. Your work leaves me in awe....
