PAINTINGS AND DRAWINGS BY LELA STANKOVIC
Hi! I am Lela, an artist based in Toronto, Canada.
What really fascinates me and definitely motivates me to draw and paint is LIGHT. There is such a magical beauty, mysterious haziness and dreadful darkness all created simply by light.
This blog was created to follow me through my quest of “catching” the elusive beauty... seeing through the blinding brightness of sunshine and play of the dawn shadows... and reawakening an urge to touch and feel.
I welcome everyone to join me in this journey of discovering light and documenting its presence among us through my simple, small world of art & creativity... Enjoy!
I would love to hear from you! Drop me a mail at: lelacreations@yahoo.com

Beautiful, Lela, amazing on such a small surface!
I can feel the texture in the petals and the colors are full of warmth. Great!
Thanks so much for your kind words Sylviane and Helen! I am really glad you like them and very much appreciate your support.
Love the ruffles and wow he color - just grabs you but you keep the overall delicacy of the flower. Like the leaf that reaches out of the picture at you. Well done.
