Yellow Iris

Size: ACEO (2.5 X 3.5 inches)
Medium & Support: Watercolor on 140lb Arches

I was lucky my visit to Royal Botanical Gardens in  Burlington coincided with a really fine weather and the Irises were in full bloom... in all their breathtaking glory... How could I resist painting them   :)

Boy you have just killed these Iris, so many beautiful colors, love the light that just emunates from the inside . Great choice of background colors adds to the overall richness -all in a little package
